OBJECT: to favour a bond moons the country of Villamaina and the emigrants and their descendants.

The Commune have deemed opportune to send this letter to promoter bond among the country of Villamaina and all the Villamainesi and their descendants in the world and particulary in Venezuela, America, Canada, Argentina, Switzerland, Germany, France, Brasil, Belgium, Australia and North-italy.

We well know you haven't forgotten neither Villamaina nor your origins but nor the old generations of Villamainesi haven't forgotten you.

We know that to withdraw frora your own country and to leave to an unknown city to find a job is always a painful but at the same tane courageous choice. You met many difficulties, you submitted to many sacrifices to find a dignified job to adapt to different habits, to renounce to your own language.

You worked for you for us, too, you supported your relatives sending them your savings. You never forgot your dear oneswho live in Villamaina. The Villamainesi, like the great part of Italians, thanks to their enterprise and their intelligence made themselves felt anywhere they went.

In the course of time, being absent old people, the risk is that can lose the bond with your own country end forget your origins.

By your side, we want to consolidate this bond and we invite you to diffuse this letter to your descendants and to maintain the contact whit we. Why do not think to the meeting of Villamainesi and their descendants in the year 2007 in occasion of the San Paolino's patronal feast in Villamaina the 22 june?
